Funchal Next Corner Plaza is inside Edificio Funchal Centrum on Rua Doutor Brito Câmara — one of the most central streets in Funchal. Restaurants start literally 50 metres from the door. The building entrance is on the opposite side from the mall entrance — staff will guide you on arrival.

The Mercado dos Lavradores farmers' market is 600m away: arrive before 11:00 for the freshest passion fruit, poncha, and artisan crafts. The famous Old Town painted doors of Rua de Santa Maria start just 800m on foot — over 200 doors transformed into open-air art installations.
For dining: Restaurante A Rampa on Rua do Favila serves traditional Madeiran cataplana at honest local prices — book ahead for weekends. Café do Museu inside the Municipal Museum garden is ideal for a midday coffee. The cable car to Monte departs from the seafront (12 min walk) and offers the most dramatic aerial views over the harbour and bay.
Practical notes: the Continente supermarket is in the same building — ideal for self-catering. For parking, use Parque Anadia on Rua Câmara Pestana (3 min walk, €12/day). The city bus terminal is 400m away with routes to all major attractions: Cabo Girão, Ribeiro Frio, and Pico do Areeiro.

These apartments sit right in the heart of Funchal, Madeira's capital, within walking distance of the marina, the cathedral (Sé), Mercado dos Lavradores and the main shopping streets. Staying centrally means no need to rent a car for sightseeing — restaurants, cafés, museums and the cable car to Monte are all reachable on foot.
Funchal is generally calm in the evenings, though central apartments may have some street noise during festival periods (especially New Year and Carnival).
Just a short walk — most central Funchal apartments are within 5–10 minutes of the marina and seafront promenade.
Not for exploring Funchal itself, but a car (or organised tours) is recommended for visiting Madeira's north coast, levada walks and Pico do Arieiro.
