A private boat charter in Madeira is fundamentally different from a group tour. You set the pace, choose the stops, and spend the day with your group only — no strangers, no fixed schedule, no rushed turnarounds. Our crew speaks English and Portuguese and has been navigating Madeira's waters for over a decade.
The island's south coast offers crystal-clear water for snorkelling above volcanic reef formations. The sea caves near Câmara de Lobos and the towering cliffs of Cabo Girão (the highest sea cliff in Europe at 580m) are best seen from below — from a boat, not from the tourist viewpoint above. Dolphins are sighted on most trips around Madeira's waters, and Atlantic spotted dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and occasionally sperm whales are regular visitors.
We operate two vessels: the Starfisher 34 (comfortable cabin yacht, up to 12 guests, ideal for full-day trips and overnight anchoring) and a Zodiac 5.5 (rigid inflatable, faster and more agile, ideal for dolphin watching and exploring sea caves). Your choice depends on the experience you want.
