Praia Formosa — long pebble beach, calm flat water, ideal for beginners. 5 min drive from Funchal.
Câmara de Lobos — dramatic cliffs, fishermen's village, crystal water. 15 min from Funchal.
Garajau Reserve — protected marine area, fish everywhere, turquoise water. 10 min drive.
Ponta do Garajau — cliffside launch, dramatic scenery, cable car access to beach.
Machico Bay — sandy beach (one of few in Madeira!), calm sheltered bay. 20 min drive.

Minimum 1 hour. Book by the hour, half-day or full day — your choice.
No deposit required. Pay at pickup. Cash or bank transfer.
2 pickup points. Funchal or Ponta Delgada. Exact pin sent via WhatsApp on confirmation.
Return deflated or inflated. Just dry and undamaged — no cleaning fee.
Kids welcome on Big Board. 1 adult + 1–2 children (seated). Big board holds up to 290 kg total.

Common questions
Do I need experience?
No. The Tribord 100 is a beginner board — wide, stable, easy to inflate. We give a quick 5-minute briefing at pickup. If you can swim, you can SUP.
Can two people go on one board?
Yes on the Big Board (10'6"): 1 adult standing + 1 child seated or kneeling works perfectly. Max total weight 290 kg. Not recommended with two full-size adults standing simultaneously.
How do I get to the best spots?
The boards fit deflated in most car boots (bag size: 92×40×30 cm). We include a local guide with GPS links to the best launch spots near Funchal — all within 20 minutes' drive.
Is the ocean safe for SUP in Madeira?
In calm weather, yes — the south coast (Funchal, Câmara de Lobos, Garajau) is sheltered and safe for beginners. Always check the forecast. We recommend Praia Formosa or Machico Bay on windier days.
