The apartment is at Rua do Cabrestante 1, Funchal — in the Estrada Monumental / Forum Madeira area, one of Funchal's most well-connected neighbourhoods. The airport shuttle bus stops nearby, making arrivals and departures effortless. Funchal's Old Town is 10 minutes by car or bus.

We were greeted by the host who helped us settle in. We had nice flowers, fruits, wine and homemade banana bread plus some groceries on our arrival. Kitchen was well stocked with some spices and even oil and oatmeal. They provide ample shampoo, soap etc. Boris was always responsive. Great to have indoor parking — but you need a small car! Overall a 10 and I would definitely go back and recommend it.
We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were extremely thoughtful: when we arrived, they had already stocked some groceries for us, and even brought us a homemade brioche during our stay! The apartment is spacious, very clean, and quiet, with a lovely view. We would definitely stay here again!
Boris was a delight to work with. We had some medical issues to deal with and were very thankful he was so understanding and helpful.

Has everything you need within walking distance. A nice walk to the beach. The host is very nice and helpful.
The apartment was spacious, functional, and clean. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are two stores within a few minutes' walk. The parking space is in an underground garage. The location was great for exploring the island by car. We were welcomed by Boris; he had baked bread, brought fruit and drinks, and told us everything we needed to know. Overall a great experience!
